Video is good. It's a hard thing to do a thing like that, and try and keep continuity. Having the stuff around is actually a learning experience for everyone.

I don't know whether you will see this, but the RCA long line (long wave) radio setups are pretty cool stuff in the States. But.... there was a video about the original radio stations (in line retransmitters) , that have HUGE towers. The one I saw on RUclips was in Ohio. It was cooled ( orig. vacuum tubes size of about 14 yr. old kid), and it was cool, but also water cooled, and there was spool, or series of pools, with sprinklers recycling the cooling water. Really BIG. It's like a mad scientist's laboratory. 😮 😳😵‍💫😳😳

At 11:40 you almost certainly have a Hispano 20mm round. Definitely live. The projectile is rusty because it will have a ferrous outer jacket. The case is likely to be brass, hence it hasn't corroded in the same way the projectile has, and in addition Hispano cases were lightly oiled to assist with feed and clean ejection. The main UK user of Hispano 20mm guns in aircraft was Fighter Command, and were used by later marks of Spitfire and Hurricane, as well being standard on the Typhoon, Tempest, some marks of Mosquito and at the very end of the war Meteors. Discarded rounds of various of calibres are relatively common on disused wartime airfields. When armourers cleared guns post flight, chambered rounds (depending on type, belt and mounting) would need to be removed. With thousands of belt fed rounds being the norm on a busy aerodrome, no one was worried about the odd few that got thrown away by lazy armourers. For example, many ex Bomber Command aerodrome dispersals are to this day littered with live .303" ammunition. Farmers treat them with complete disregard. Hispanos were also used (though rarely) as light anti aircraft (LAA) guns for aerodrome. Interestingly, many wartime airfield site plans show theoretical Hispano LAA gun sites, but with no evidence of them ever being built. I know you can't say where this was, but even just the county would be helpful as it would suggest which RAF Command (Bomber, Fighter, Army Cooperation, Coastal) the aerodrome was part of. On a separate subject at 5:15 the casting is made by Tubeclamps. The company still exists, having been trading since the early 1950s which ties in nicely with the ROC site.

4:19. "Unaccessioned". Museums and archives use the term "accession" (usually suffixed by a number) as an individual item's identification in an inventory. The item(s) on that rack had been "unaccessioned", ie not yet collated, and as such lacked any formal identification. That "coarse groove" record would have been interesting to play. 22:05, interesting info on those castings. LPTB = London Passenger Transport Board. And to the right and upside down is STANTON. This company made (among other things) the castings for air raid shelters commonly found on many wartime UK airfields, and bomb casings. I believe the company has now ceased trading.

Hope it works ok Ian . I believe a washing machine treatment for waterproofing cloth using Nikwax products is another option .... maybe a cardboard based baseball cap peak would fail in a washing machine , but you can brush another Nikwax product instead . Hikers would know best about Nilwax .

Btw you should do morevids on uknown places around here. Apparently on King St where Greys China hall used to be ( accross from th end of the mall there was a "speak to" bar upstairs. Ya know where ya'd knock ,they'd open a little peep hole in the door you say the secret word ad voila you are granted passage ito a secret bar. You guys need to come to Colorado. Decaying granite comprised our "topsoil." That stuff is very radioactive. Really not a healthy place to live. Toxic gold and silver mines, lead in the water, arsenic in the water, radiation blowing freely though beautiful Telluride's streets. Nature is quite poisonous, in and of itself.
